My letter to Steve

I'm writing this post in the wake of Apple's announcement of Steve's passing. It's still sinking in for me at this point. I'm writing this post on my iPad 2.

Dear Mr Jobs,

I would like to express my gratitude on all that you've done for us. From the Macintosh to the iPhone to the iPad, you have evolved personal computing on a historical level that few have achieved before. I'm sure you get letters like this all the time. I just wanted to assure you that even the "Apple haters" out there appreciate what you've done to promote innovation and competition. You've touched our lives at the work place and at home. I have not felt sorrow like this since 9/11(and 3/11) and it still amazes me that a single person's vision could change the entire industry single handedly. We love you and we will forever carry your legacy in our back packs, brief cases, pockets, in our hearts and wear it on our wrist like a watch.

Thank you Steve,

Sincerely,

-Tony Wang

lots going on this week......

and its only tuesday...
lets see whats going on in the news so far....
The Brits are coming out w/ a supercar.. Keating TKR/SKR..
lets not talk about the built quality of everything British... um... lets talk numbers.. 400hp..
Unless this thing weights about the same as a Lotus Elise... 400 I'm sorry is just not gonna cut it.
My neighbor's M5 has 400hp and can carry your whole family + grandma
so we'll have to wait and see if this super car is gonna fall apart traveling at high speed like the F117 (who's retiring btw, thanks for the heads up www.thedigitalkitty.com)

Something's happening in FORD's camp... but I'm not gonna blog aboot it.. see pic below

Onto something more important and interesting..
Bugatti is up to no good again... this time with a 2+2 Bugatti GT: Streamliner 12-2.
yes it looks like a veyron... it goes fast.. carrys 4.. and yes you'll never be able to afford it cuz gas is now $108 a barrel and this car will drink the whole tank in about 10 mins at wot

I've always wanted to go to Dubai for the crazy architecture... but...umm..

100 cars car crash... um ... 25 caught fire...6 full size buses involved as well..

BMW's considering full electric car by 2012.... nothing's set in stone yet.. i just like this graphic posted on autoblog...

More on Toyota/Scion's HAKO as its revealed.. can't wait for more specs...
